Butterfly Conservation Somerset & Bristol Branch AGM 2026

Doors open 10.30am

The meeting will commence promptly at 11am

 

The 2026 AGM will be held on Saturday 7th November at 11.00 am at Draycott Memorial Hall, Draycott. BS27 3UE

All branch members are welcome to attend.  Non-members are welcome to join after the short AGM.
 

AGM Agenda

1. Apologies for absence.

2. Minutes of the AGM held on Saturday 15th November 2025. The minutes were published in The Arion, issue No 132.

3. Matters Arising.

4. Report from the Chair (Rani Koya).

5. Treasurer's Report  (Nick Redman) and Adoption of Accounts.  The accounts for the year ending 31st March 2026 are in The Arion issue 134.

6. Election to the Branch Committee

     a)  Peter Bright, John Ball and Sue Davies all retire on rotation (3yrs). They are all eligible to stand for re-election.

     b) Ray Barnett was co-opted onto the committee in February 2026 and will be standing for election.

     c) Any member may propose another for election to the Committee at the AGM, provided that the proposal is received by  the Secretary (Alison Uren) in writing by 31st October.  Email:  Secretary@somersetbutterflies.org.uk

7. Date of next Meeting.  Spring Members' meeting - Saturday 13th March 2027 at Draycott Memorial Hall

8. Next AGM will be on Saturday 6th November 2027

 

 

The Autumn Members' meeting will follow on directly after the AGM
