Butterfly Conservation Somerset & Bristol Branch AGM 2024

Doors open 10.30am

The meeting will commence promptly at 11am

 

The 2024 AGM will be held on Saturday 23rd November at 11.00 am at Draycott Memorial Hall, Draycott. BS27 3UE

All branch members are welcome to attend.
 

AGM Agenda

1. Apologies for absence.

2. Minutes of the AGM held on Saturday 25th November 2023. The minutes were published in The Arion, issue No 126.

3. Matters Arising.

4. Acting Chairman's Report (Peter Bright). This is published in Arion, issue 128  and is also available on this link.

5. Treasurer's Report  (Nick Redman) and Adoption of Accounts.  The accounts for the year ending 31st March 2024 are in The Arion issue 128.

6. Election to the Branch Committee

     a)  Alison Uren, Nick Redman, & Roger Perkins retire on rotation (3yrs). They are all eligible to stand for re-election.

     b) Rani Koya was co-opted on 22nd October 2024, and will therefore be standing for election.

     c) Ian Walker, as 'Honorary Warden of Mount Fancy BC reserve' will be standing as an 'Associate Committee member'

     d) Any member may propose another for election to the Committee at the AGM, provided that the proposal is received by           the Secretary (Alison Uren) in writing by 16th November  Email:  Secretary@somersetbutterflies.org.uk

7. Date of next Meeting.  Spring Members' meeting - Saturday 15th March 2025 at Draycott Memorial Hall

8. Next AGM will be on Saturday 15th November 2025

 

 

The Autumn Members' meeting will follow on directly after the AGM
